The Fruits of My Labour

In my last blog post I had realised I didn't need to paint over the photos, but I also came to realise that monochrome not only eradicated the pull of a bright blue sky over a grey one it helped to pull focus towards looking at the two realities, despite being indoors the photo looks to the outside, to nature. In the best photos the foreground is hard to make out but yet is still present, the eye is drawn to the window, the mind wanders around the room.

Not the final choice of photos, but two which almost made the final selection. I love the messy bed photo but it draws too much focus to the room, the other photo is one I keep choosing and then rejecting!
