This is my final sculpture for British Gypsum completed and installed October 2015, it represents industry and sustainability. The top edge of the front tablet is a view of the landscape near Brightling, the tallest tablet at the back has a representation of the landscape at Mountfield on its top edge and the centre tablet is a section of the overground conveyer which takes the mined gypsum from Brightling to Mountfield. The void through the centre allows the viewer to see through the sculpture to the from the landscape to the mine entrance.
